You can push that to turn it on, or if it's an especially hot day, you can press the two little snowflakes button, and then you will get more air conditioning, more snowflakes, more cold, more air conditioning.

And by the way, back up to the ceiling, the center here, next to the rear defroster, this little button with the light on it turns on the reading light for the front passengers.

The light is located here in this little black color. It's not currently working. I suspect the bulb has burned out, but that's how you turn on the reading light in the Citroen CX, in case you were curious.

Now, next up, also in the center, but back to the center console, a rather interesting feature is the radio, which is mounted here in the center console between the seats and facing the driver's seat.
